Hi David,

Once again thanks so much for knocking together such a great study aid! In my opinion, its one thing knowing the material well, and a completely different one understanding what is required of you on the day of the test – your software and simulations, without a doubt in my mind, gave me the edge I needed on the day of the test.

Really hoping that you are going to extend this kind of offering to the CCDA, CCDP and CCNP.

Kind regards,
Ian Ward (South Africa)

David,

By the way I have a fantastic job as a network engineer with Lockheed Martin Corporation primarily as a result of my CCNA certification.

Thanks is part to you and the study material provided by configterminal.

I am planning on persuing the SNRS certification beginning late this year and I am counting on using configterminal to achieve my goal.

Thanks again

Doug Fleming

Hi

At first glance, this is as awesome as I hoped from the website.

Really glad I stumbled across it!

My CCNA just expired and I wasn't quite ready to go for the BSCI, so I need something to review.  And the look and feel of your material is STUNNING.

thanks again,

Mike Bailey

How it works:

Each scenario is presented as a Task that needs to be completed.

An Example::

You type the commands into a router simulator as follows:

Once you have typed a command the application will give you a result to tell if you have typed the command correctly.

In the above picture, the last Result block is blank because the last command has not been entered.

The result field tells you if the command has been typed correctly.

Only an "OK" in this field tells you it has been configured correctly.

If you are not sure of the command required, type "y" into the box "Give me the answer"

The correct command will be displayed as follows:

Shortcuts

To move to the next command or see the result of the command you have entered, press TAB

There is no need to type exit between modes (just like on a real router):

You can do this

Router(config)#interface ethernet 0
Router(config-if)#ip address 10.1.1.1 255.255.255.0
Router(config-if)#interface serial 1
Router(config-if)#ip address 10.1.2.1 255.255.255.0
