Hi David,

Once again thanks so much for knocking together such a great study aid! In my opinion, its one thing knowing the material well, and a completely different one understanding what is required of you on the day of the test – your software and simulations, without a doubt in my mind, gave me the edge I needed on the day of the test.

Really hoping that you are going to extend this kind of offering to the CCDA, CCDP and CCNP.

Kind regards,
Ian Ward (South Africa)
This is my first newsletter, I came across your IOS tips ebook searching through google, and didn't mind getting the newsletter. Now, I'd like to say wow!

Its awesome, I'm really glad I signed up--kron jobs on IOS? I didn't know you could do that! The information is incredibly well presented.

When I can tear myself away from study, I'll update my blog, and give your site a plug, you provide some fantastic resources that you don't really see anywhere else, thanks!

Greets!

David,
this is a fantastic tool (Cool IOS Commands). I am already calculating how much time this is going to save me in the course of an average day and am going to push out some of the exec aliases via ciscoworks tomorrow.

Have you got any primers on routing protocol troubleshooting especially for eigrp and ospf that you would be willing to sell or indeed, that you would be interested in writing? I say this as manuals that contain real knowledge from the field are worth incomparably more than manuals written in the course of a training lab.

I have not even looked at the VPN config generator yet and am impressed already
thanks

Robert

David,

Thanks! It went very well,

I passed the test. Yehaw!

I attribute my success to the time spent using the CCNA Knowledge Verifier testing application.

It covered important concepts and operational tasks that were covered on the CCNA test.

The Command Line Memorizer section provided additional insight into many of the troubleshooting exercises.

Thanks again for your help.

Hi David..

The VPN config only took 15-20 mins – more because I was trying to find my specific needed entries – the actual generation and then copy / paste was crazy-fast … the issue I had initially had to do with using the Cisco VPN utility via ASDM, which got me connected OK – and could even browse – but for whatever reason could not print across the tunnel –

I recreated the tunnel with your config generator and it was working …  so .. thanks!

Looking forward to using the site and provided tools ..

Thanks again!!

I think the news letter is great! - Fantastic and useful information.

Not the normal junk I get in my inbox.

Great work !!

Thanks for the answer, it's been getting to me for months, and I just keep forgetting to ask you for a solution. You have no idea how much time that little command is going to safe me. I'm working on a huge security network which has over 80 firewalls some of which have over 3000 lines of access-lists.

It's a pain in the neck trying to find a single host with a certain port to see if the access-list exists, so this is going to safe me a stack of time :)
